The Paris-Bourbon County Chamber of Commerce will launch a three-part business development series beginning in January 2026, designed to equip local entrepreneurs and business owners with tools for growth, innovation and sustainability. Each monthly session – January, February & March – will focus on a key pillar of business success, such as marketing and branding, financial management and customer relations. The series will feature expert speakers, interactive learning opportunities and practical takeaways to help businesses strengthen their operations and connect with other local professionals. This series aims to foster collaboration, build community knowledge and provide ongoing professional development that supports our mission to grow a thriving local economy. January 14: The Reels Deal: Level Up Your Visibility is an interactive, hands-on workshop designed to help entrepreneurs and professionals boost their online presence through engaging short-form video. Participants will bring their laptops or tablets and, with guided support, create and edit reels across multiple platforms—including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok—that can be posted immediately. This session blends practical learning with creative strategy, empowering attendees to walk away with ready-to-share content and the confidence to keep their digital visibility growing.
February 11: Building a Budget That Works: Level Up Your Finances is an action-focused workshop designed to help business owners take control of their money and plan for sustainable growth. Participants will bring their laptops or tablets and work directly with their own business numbers to complete a detailed budget worksheet. Guided step-by-step, attendees will set realistic financial goals, identify opportunities to save and invest wisely, and leave with a practical, customized budget that positions their business for success in the year ahead.
March 11: Creating a Newsletter That Connects: Level Up Your Communication is a hands-on workshop designed to help business owners strengthen relationships with their audience through effective email marketing. Participants will bring their laptops or tablets and use a free Canva template to design a one-page newsletter that highlights their products or services, upcoming events, promotions, employee spotlights, and more. By the end of the session, attendees will have a polished, ready-to-send newsletter they can immediately share with their audience—enhancing engagement and keeping their business top of mind.
